Her resin purses, crosses, serving sets, clocks, and more all feature luxurious details! Her eye for creating wow-factor artwork with MEYSPRING Pigments is top-notch! Tell us more about yourself!

I am a mother of three and a certified accountant. When I had my first baby, I stopped all my dreams to raise them and be with them all the time to help their dreams come true. Once they became grown enough to continue their journey independently, I saw that as an opportunity to give myself time again for my own hobbies and passions. I am also Lebanese, and I have been living in London for 24 years now. I travel a lot, and every time I travel, I make it a priority to collect crosses. This was one of the reasons that made me want to make my own crosses out of resin. On top of that, I like to collect precious stones like amethyst, agate, and geodes, so I found resin art was the closest medium to imitate the beauty of these stones.

What inspired you to become an artist?

I have always been passionate about fashion and art because I grew up in a household where my mum was an artist. Art is a way of escaping my reality when life becomes too overwhelming. That is why I took this path.

How long have you been working with resin?

October 2022 was the date I decided to start making my art with resin. So I started teaching myself, spending hours watching videos, reading, buying, and trying so many products. It wasn’t an easy journey; I had a lot of failures, but I enjoyed every second of it. It wasn’t until March 2023 that I found myself capable of doing this art, and so I decided to start my resin business. It was the best decision I made because each project is a challenge and makes me happy.

What made you choose MEYSPRING pigments?

In the beginning, I went through Instagram and read reviews for all sorts of products, and MEYSPRING was one of them. So, I decided to give them a go, and they did not disappoint at all! Since then, whenever I want to start a project and find the right colours for it, I start by getting inspiration from my unique MEYSPRING pigments. I find the colour quality of MEYSPRING pigments to be so vibrant and opaque and have the most amazing shimmery effect in them.

What is your favorite color scheme?

My go-to pigments that I always reach for are White Chalcedony or White Pearl with Dazzling Diamond mixed in; that never fails to dazzle me! I can’t forget to mention the Sterling Lining and Gilded Gold metallic pigments. These are a must-have in every single one of my projects because of their amazing quality and opacity.

Where do you find your inspiration?

I am my own inspiration. My imagination is what inspires all of my resin art. I spend hours dreaming, drawing, and thinking in my workspace until I get an idea of how to bring it to reality.

How much time do you dedicate to your craft?

The majority of my days and nights are spent in my workspace. I used to spend my free time going out and shopping, but my priorities have changed since starting my business.

What are your goals for your artistic journey?

Being an artist is not easy. The time and effort that go into creating every piece can sometimes be overlooked. I hope my creations inspire and reach a wider audience one day.

What is the most significant "Aha moment" you've had while creating?

I don’t have a specific “Aha moment” because when I have a unique idea and I’m able to pursue it, that itself is something I consider an “aha moment.” For example, when someone asked me to create a rose gold colour to match the balloon colour scheme that they wanted, it was through experimenting and mixing several MEYSPRING Pigments (Gilded Gold, Sterling Lining, and Rose Quartz) that I had an “aha moment!”

What advice would you like to share with aspiring creators?

Firstly, I would like to tell them that nothing truly is impossible. If you have a passion, pursue it. Although it may not be easy, do not give up because once you achieve it, you will feel great personal satisfaction, and that itself is better than any type of therapy.
Regarding resin, my tips and tricks are to ensure you choose the right products and pigments, such as MEYSPRING pigments, because it makes a huge difference in achieving a successful result. Keep going and keep learning!
